Programs

The Applied English program offers an opportunity for students to obtain a master’s degree. It provides students with a solid foundation for exploring questions regarding how the English language is used in naturalistic contexts of professions, and how English for specific purposes can be taught, learned and evaluated. Courses offered span different fields such as linguistics, anthropology, and language education; they are theoretically motivating, methodologically rigorous, and socially relevant. The language of instruction is English.

Courses are compulsory and elective:

  1. Compulsory — Research Courses: 6 credits.
  2. Elective — English Courses: 28 credits.
